What does it take to become a Wildlife Trained Arborist?
Be a current Certified Arborist,
Have completed a wildlife training workshop of at least 4 hours,
Be aware of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (Migratory Birds Convention Act in Canada) and any other laws or regulations in the area and have practices in place to minimize impacting nesting wildlife.
*Wildlife Trained Arborist is a designation provided by The Tree Care for Birds Committee and the Western Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture.
