With 4 years of experience as a climber, he specializes in pruning and trimming ornamental and fruit trees. Oscar is passionate about learning, regularly attending workshops and plans to become a certified arborist. He finds great satisfaction in preserving trees, enhancing both their safety and beauty, and enjoys the diverse landscapes of Sonoma County. Outside of work, Oscar enjoys kayaking, fishing, and spending time in nature.

Luis is a skilled tree climber and groundman with a strong commitment to professional growth. He actively attends arborist seminars, plans further education, and participates in industry events. He values the dynamic nature of his work and finds satisfaction in completing projects that leave clients happy with the results. Living in Sonoma County offers him an ideal balance of work-life accessibility. Outside of work, he enjoys sports and physical activities that complement his professional skills. Noel
Noel has worked at Vintage Tree Care for about 10 years, specializing in tree pruning, climbing, and removal. He has also gained experience in traffic control, emphasizing team safety, and has received training in CPR, tree rescue, and climbing. Although he doesn’t have a specific plan for further education, he is committed to professional growth. Noel has participated in tree care events, discussing tree hazards like fungi and branch injuries. Inspired by his father, he takes pride in his work and appreciates the opportunity to learn from his boss and colleagues. He enjoys pruning redwoods and oaks and values working in Sonoma County for its trees and climate. Outside of work, he enjoys family time and playing the accordion, aspiring to become a professional musician.

Erik has been a part of the Vintage Tree Care team for 6 years, working as a groundman. He plays a role in tree removal and care, consistently demonstrating a strong work ethic. Erik has completed extensive training, including safety courses, seminars, and earning certifications to enhance his skills. He’s passionate about his work and attends Treetopia each year to further his education and stay up-to-date with industry developments. One of Erik’s favorite aspects of his job is the freedom to learn and grow without micromanagement. He finds the workday engaging and often sings through the day, making the most of every task. He enjoys working in Sonoma County, where the mild climate and consistent work opportunities make for an ideal environment. Outside of work, Erik enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, as well as listening to music and exploring local restaurants.

Arnulfo has been a Groundsman at Vintage Tree Care for 8 years. With a background in working in vineyards, he has a strong passion for plant care. His responsibilities as a Groundsman include trimming, planting, and overall plant maintenance. He enjoys staying up-to-date with safety seminars and has earned recognition at Treetopia for his efforts. Arnulfo values his job security and is grateful for the positive relationships he has with his coworkers, allowing him to do what he loves. He enjoys staying busy and appreciates the opportunity to work in a field that aligns with his interests. He especially enjoys working with the diverse trees in Sonoma County. Throughout his time in the industry he has gained valuable experience, particularly in teamwork and communication. One of his goals is to obtain his Arborist license as he advances in his career. He enjoys his work at Vintage Tree Care and is hopeful for continued progress in the field. His primary motivation is to deepen his understanding of trees while working hard to support his family. What he finds most fulfilling about his job is the strong sense of camaraderie among his coworkers — they prioritize safety and look out for one another. With nearly six years at Vintage Tree Care and over 11 years in the industry, she provides expert consultations, health assessments, and risk evaluations. Her background in utility vegetation management strengthens her ability to assess and mitigate risks, ensuring community safety. Her customer service skills shine in her ability to communicate complex information, educate clients on tree health, and offer personalized advice. She is proactive in outreach, having led public presentations on tree care and engaged with local communities to raise awareness about the importance of trees. Fred
Owner & Certified Arborist
With 30 years of experience in the tree care industry, Fred has been a cornerstone of our company since its inception. As the owner, Fred specializes in ornamental pruning, structural pruning, risk evaluation, and tree biology, with a particular focus on aesthetics. His extensive career began with private tree work and evolved into municipal tree care with the City of Santa Rosa, giving him a broad perspective on managing large-scale tree care operations. Fred has committed years to staying current with industry advancements through seminars, conferences, and ongoing education. As a Certified Arborist, he takes pride in sharing his knowledge, particularly in plant care and tree health, with the community. One of his most rewarding experiences was leading a group of teenagers in a competitive fruit tree project, helping to instill a love for trees and environmental stewardship. A fifth-generation Santa Rosa resident, Fred is deeply committed to his community, actively participating in volunteer work and serving as a former president of the California Arborist Association. His dedication to the field has earned him numerous industry awards, including Volunteer of the Year from the Western Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture. When he’s not working, Fred enjoys spending time with his family, being out in nature, and playing softball. His passion for trees and the people who care for them is evident in everything he does.
Jasmine Leonard
Jasmine is an administrative assistant at Vintage Tree Care, where she combines her strong customer service background with her passion for the natural world. Although she is relatively new to our tree care industry, Jasmine’s love for plants and her eagerness to learn make her a valuable part of the team. Originally from Palm Springs, she has spent the last four years in Sonoma County, where her connection to nature has grown even stronger.
